Why I want a GamecubeI've always thought Nintendo has made the best games of all video game producing companies, although, it always seems that their best games are released late in their platform's life cycle. My example du jour: Mario 128. A sequel to Mario 64!? All I can really say is wow.
Matt's Cool and Interesting Guide to Summer FunOk, it's Summer, your job hasn't started yet, and you're bored. This is the definitive guide to what you should can do. Some of these take more than one person, so you may need a friend.
ProductivityI got so much stuff done the first two days I've been home. I got a good lead on a job, got my computer hooked to the internet, got a haircut, and saw my brother's concert. It's so good to be busy. A Hyperlink To The PastHere's something funny. It appears I'm still assistant patrol master of the Boy Scout Troop 264, Wolverine Patrol. Winding downThe year's almost over here at CMU, and I'm getting ready to come home for a long, relaxing Summer. Does anyone know of any great Summer jobs? And I swear, if I hear the word plastic mentioned I'll hunt you down, kidnap you, and make you work for 10 hours a day packing plastic. My last final is tomorrow, in differential equations, but I'm not too worried about it (not at all, actually). After my final, I'm going to make a homepage with a javascript, randomly generated, biography of me. That will keep me entertained for a while. The final tomorrow is, however, at 8:30 AM, so I guess I'm going to go to sleep. GBAI'm getting a Game Boy Advance with Wario Land 4 for less than $20 tomorrow. w00t! Arrested DevelopmentArrested Development is simply the best show on television right now. It's schizophrenic, brilliant, and utterly hilarious. It's so fast paced, too. The problem is, it's on the bubble. FOX has put it on at the ill-fated Sunday at 9:30 spot, and so, from the beginning, it was doomed to be cancelled. Watch it, and, if you know anyone with a Nielson box, break into their house, and tune in. Really, it's that good. Summer promisesEvery year, as summer approaches, I think of all kinds of things to do; try to actually make a game to completion, work out, read a million different books. Of course, none of these things ever get near done, or for that case even started. I guess this is kind of like everyone's stupid New Year's Eve resolutions. I never made those because it seems to formal, and I'm always to busy, but I'm also too busy to get anything done over summer, too. Sure, it seems like I have more time, but then I have to get a job (*shudders*) and find scholarships and hang out with friends and sleep in and not completely avoid my family. It's a shame. I could really do some cool things if I had about a month of time that didn't need to be used for other things. Random Game I Like #23: Never Winter NightsThis feels just like Baldur's Gate one and two did, but with better graphics. You might as well just call it The Grade Killer. Crap! I did it.I aced that test (see below). However, I did not do so well in the poker tournament. I played well though. Bad luck I guess.
