One Final

I have one final left in Concepts of Math. I just did some math on my grade, and it looks like I need a 2.5% on it to get an A in the course. I'm totally not studying.

Today's Comic

My Least Favorite Smiley

AIM has a lot of smilies. You can express yourself as the cool sunglasses smiley, the angry mouth open smiley, or this gross!. That "kissing" smiley is perhaps the most disgusting, frightening image in all of existence. If you're friends with Freud, you might say that my hatred for this stems from my insecurities towards kissing and love.

Not true!

Look at the thing. Note its beauty mole, its overapplied lipstick, its slightly crossed eyes. It looks like some kind of whored-up Ms. Pac-Man.

So what's my suggestion to AOL for improving the internet? Change this smiley to anything else.

Studying

The probability final I have tommorrow is going to be bad. Really bad.

UPDATE: Wasn't actually that bad.

Awesome Test

I just had the most awesome final ever. The one problem was fun, like one of the puzzles in The Fool's Errand.

Napoleon Dynamite

Watch Napoleon Dynamite.
Dynamite!
It's definitely worth your time.

Critical

This is why I like Penny-Arcade.

Nielsen Boxes

Everytime I watch TV I wish I had a Nielsen box. People would then actually listen to a voice of reason in the wasteland of TV ratings. I would be so clear and methodological with my television viewing. For example I would allow Arrested Development to end, see the intro to My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, and immediately change the channel to some other random station every week. Or during Adult Swim, I'd turn off the TV when Sealab or Aquateen would come on, and immediately turn it back on after these shows ended. The Networks would receive such a clear signal from from me that it would be impossible to ignore.

Today's Comic...

The black and white makes it look classy.

Victory

I won the much mentioned Photoshop contest. I won an uber-geeky "Planet Verilog" t-shirt. It's super huge, but I'll put a picture up soon, probably tomorrow.
