The Register Cuts Its News Feed

The Register cut its news feed for handheld computers several weeks ago. I really was starting to enjoy its intelligent tech articles, and now I don't really have a good source for tech news on my Palm Pilot. Fox News Top Stories the other free news source I was automatically subscribed to really has no worthwhile tech articles at all.

The Traffic Cone Preservation Society

A silly site by a student from UCLA can be found at http://animation.filmtv.ucla.edu/students/awinfrey/coneindex.htm. "It is the Society's mission to counteract these centuries of neglect. By preserving and studying these 'Helpers of Humanity,' we hope to allow future generations the opportunity to enjoy these magnificent creatures in their natural habitats. " It's quite a hilarious site. Go there.

Random Game I Like #15: Railroad Tycoon 2

I totally missed the whole Railroad Tycoon thing the first time, but it's a lot of fun. And wow, it teaches more than a course in economics. Fun, fun, fun...

It was, pretty much exactly how I expected it. I chose the song "Tears" which I thought would describe my performance well. And it did. At least I had someone else playing with me so I didn't look like a total fool.
