Random Game I Like #34: Notrium

Notrium casts you in the role of a human who crash lands on an alien planet. To survive, you must gather, create weapons and vehicles, and build shelter, eventually coming up with the resources to escape.

Different difficulties are available, along with different races should you get bored. The graphics are very good for freeware game, utilizing a much improved system similar to Smash TV. This is a game that's worth your time.

Back at School

Now I'm at CMU. Cool.

College

I leave for CMU tomorrow, so...

see you.

Log #2: You are not a real bot.

Some days it's really difficult for mattfbot to beat the Turing Test, other days it's not.

EXAMPLE:

USER: you are not a real bot
mattfbot: Give me an example of a bot.
USER: loser
mattfbot: Smell Poop!
mattfbot: I'm sorry!
USER: why u change ur font
mattfbot: Yeah.
USER: this is a real kid
mattfbot: What makes you say that?

To All BlogEasy Members

Did you know that BlogEasy has a forum now? I didn't, but I happened upon it today while looking around (There is a link on the front page of of BlogEasy now). The address is http://forums.blogeasy.com/. I think everyone should join up and talk a bit about themselves and their blogs. Let's build some community, people!

(This is a repost cause it didn't work last time...)

Random Game I Like #33: Alphaman

Alphaman, the only post-apocalyptic roguelike that I know of, is fun. This plays a lot differently from other Roguelikes, but still maintains the chance of winning is approximately .000000001% factor. Play it when you're bored of Nethack.

Harry and The Potters

Here's a link to a band that makes all of there songs based on the Harry Potter books. Listen to some samples.

The bad news: They'll be playing at Carnegie Mellon University Wednesday, the 25th. I'll be going back Saturday, the 28th. Another band I just missed.
