I'm going to get you Baxter. Mark my words. I'm going to get you.
I guess I should confess. April Fools. I also played the part of "The Real Will Wright" and "Old Man." Sorry to sully your good name, Dan. I suppose it was obvious I wrote for Old Man, considering it started with "Dude" and included the word "awesome."
Hello Matt,
For a while now I've been thinking about offering a job to your friend Sridhar, who is reportedly exceptional. However, having seen that you are in such high demand by my colleagues and competitors, I think I may have made a mistake about which of you is really the most cool and interesting. Screw Sridhar - won't you come work for me?
Matt, I want to hire you, don't listen to Will Wright. I mean come on: why would you want to play Sim City when you could play CIVILIZATION!
Dude, Will Wright read your blog! That's awesome.
I am sorry to inform you "Mr Matt" that theemail above was not from me. You have been fooled by some prankster. For instance, the game is called Spore, not Sprouts. I have looked over your websites, and it looks like you have some real potential. Give me a call in a few years when you graduate. I too like Animal Crossing's feel, but I must agree with you that it is little more than a massive fetch-quest.
I'm pretty sure that's an April fools joke, but well, it was emailed to me, so I'm not the joker.
WOW. awesome, man.
Fisto, You da man! Its not an April Fool's joke is it?
Dude, that's freakin' awesome. If memory serves, Will Wright has poofy green hair and knows all about urban planning. That's what I remember from the Nintendo version of SimCity, anyway. What did Romero's email say, anyway?
