Random Game I Like #10: Typing of the DeadAw man! This game's great. It combines two of my favorite things: taking down zombies and typing! That's right, typing. This game was released originally for Dreamcast, but was ported to the PC, so you can enjoy it on your own computer. Try it out. You'll enjoy the zombie killing, and you'll get good at typing doing it. 9 Banana Wielding Zombies out of 10. Movie Review: TombstoneTombstone (Kurt Russel, Val Kilmer) tells the story of the shoot-out at the OK Coral. It's done really well, and the character's are great. Val Kilmer gives an excellent portrayal of good gunslinger, Doc Holliday. Supposedly the film is historically accurate too, which is good for things like Jeopardy and high school. Check it out. 8 saloons out of 10! My fall scheduleRegistration was yesterday, so here's a link to my fall schedule. Family Guy may return to FOXThe incredibly popular cartoon series may make a return to FOX this January according to the article at http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2003-11-18-family-guy_x.htm. The short lived series was recently released on a DVD which resulted in high sales. This suggests to FOX that the show is ripe to return. We can only hope. Random Game I like #9: Age of WondersAge of Wonders is a turn based strategy game in the style of Heroes of Might and Magic. So you command your army of a fantasy race (think lord of the rings) and attempt to conquer your enemies. Personally, I think it's better than Heroes. It's more tactical and exciting, anyway. Try it out sometime. The sequel to it, Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic was released recently. Check that out too, I plan to. This link is funny I thinkI don't have time to read this, but I need content, and Scott says this link is pretty good. So you should probably check it out http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~kovar/hall.html. Silly baggers.Last weekend was sleeping bag weekend here at cmu. One of the baggers on my floor has a web page which he wanted to link to. It made me laugh, so check it out: Andrew's site. And yes, that link is right. Crazy optical illusion! This is the coolest optical illusion I've seen. Aw man! It'll blow your mind! http://www.cus.cam.ac.uk/~gz208/illusion.html Check out the new Indiana Jones DVD trilogyIt's available at http://www.indianajones.com/ . You get the three movies along with a special bonus features disk. And if you haven't seen this piece of cinematic history, you owe it to yourself. Another band I like: Jacob Fred Jazz OdysseyI first heard them on my jazz station, Temple Radio, late at night driving through the fog. The song was Critters, a bizarre neo-electronic improv jazz set. It really made a cool mood in the fog. Anyway, check Jacob Fred out if you like jazz improv in the style of Medeski, Martin, & Wood.
