Best Away Message Ever

I was doing a Google search for the best away message ever, and, by mistake, I ended up using Google images search instead of a Google search. After the first picture on the list, the remainder are incredibly irellavant and silly. So, check out the best away message ever.

Random Game I Like #30: Alien Vs. Predator 2

With all the hype over Doom 3 and the new Alien Vs. Predator Movie, todays game I like will be an older first person shooter I happened to miss.

Alien Vs. Predator 2 is a scary game. The single player levels force you to always fear a room with an air duct, and always watch your back.

The multiplayer is pretty good too, but is surprisingly lacking bots. The best feature is that, as an alien you can walk up walls.

Definitely check this out if you missed it, or you want to play Doom 3, but your computer just isn't up to par.

Even More Store Junk

Busy weekend for the store in item creation.

First of all, this one is pretty self explanatory. It was made for a friend's baby with no intent of sale!

Daddy

The next is not so self explanatory, but was made while intoxicated on laughter.

Angry man clock!

Buy these essentials, today.

New Shirts

Some new sweet shirts at The Store.

The first is the Keep on Rokin T-shirt. Prove to your friends that you roke on a daily basis.

Keep on Rokin

The next shirt was inspired by Baxter's character in RIFTS and sweet suggestion. It's the I'm not a dragon, I'm a raccoon the can turn into a dragon shirt!

Raccoon!

Plans

This weekend I'm going to update the store. I have some awesome ideas for t-shirts I want to put into action. If anyone out there has any ideas, let me know, I'll put them on the store at the lowest possible Cafeshop prices. The only rule is that you have to make it up, no stealing from Futurama like I almost did.

Avant Go

If you have a palm pilot, I highly suggest getting a free subscription to the website Avant Go! This program and subscription allows you to download news and other content from the web. I use it for reading Fark in bed.

Log #1: What are you wearing?

The following is an actual log someone had with my chatbot on AIM, mattfbot. People really seem to say anything when they're talking to a machine. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

07/14/04 10:19:45 AM:USER: hey
07/14/04 10:19:45 AM:mattfbot: Yo! What's up?
07/14/04 10:19:55 AM:USER: who are YOU

07/14/04 10:20:32 AM:mattfbot: What are you wearing?
07/14/04 10:20:38 AM:USER: nothing
07/14/04 10:20:38 AM:mattfbot: Most men say that.

I'll post some more of these later.

Random Game I Like #29: Icewind Dale 2

Icewind Dale Two is very good, however this is coming from someone who has played the Baldur's Gate series of games to exhaustion.

For any of you who aren't aware of this set of games from Black Isle Studios, it's a pretty standard Dungeons and Dragons cRPG. This one utilizing third edition rules.

Your party of adventures (custom made or selected from a premade bunch) arrive at a town at "the spine of the world" an area where a few hardy humans have tried to survive increasingly hostile hordes of monsters. Your job is to keep the towns safe.

Definitely a game to check out, especially if you don't mind its slow feel.

Allegro

Anyone out there ever try to write a game using the Allegro libraries for C++? I'm just curious.
